Title: EGR
Post by: Dubbz on 13 May 2009, 17:08
Has anyone blanked off there egr valve?
Today i pulled the hose off and put a screw down the pipe, and put a cover over the end of the egr.
I did a little read up on what the egr dose, and it seems its not much use.
Any thoughts on this? good times or bad times?

Thanks peeps.

The egr is used to cut emissions and thats it.
I may get the delete pipe at some stage

What happens if your cars not mapped but take the pipe of and block them off?

does it make any difference or just stops the gases going bck into the manifold? :undecided:
