Title: Mystery amp drain on new battery
Post by: bigtitt on 13 May 2009, 12:19
Ok you brainyaks work this out:

Brand new battery, all the fuses pulled, amp meter shows >250 Ma drain with the multi meter between wiring loom and battery.

Where can I look next for the drain? There was an old clifford alarm which was removed, I cant find any box for it but would that bypass the fuse box?

OK, if your 'amp' measurement is correct you have something around 3W drawing the current. Check the glovebox light isn't on, that's 3W. Check boot light as well, but that's 5w I think.
