hi all.
My mate has offered me a air filter as he has a new one. its brand new, been on the car for only a week.
What I need to know is can I just bolt it on?? Im completely new to anything like this  and any help is greatly appreciated.
The filter is a Pipercross wire mesh, 200mm at the big end, 150mm at the small end and has a 70mm inlet to go on a 2.0 GTI.
Cheers.

and......what car is this going on?
its an induction kit or a panel filter?

its going on a Golf GTI 2.0 mk4
its not a panel filter.

As long as it's a mk4 filter (I'm not sure if the inlets are different sizes between different mk's) then it'll be fine. Google "fitting induction filter", there's bound to be pic by pic tutorials

im sure it will fit fine, i just wanted to double check that its ok to take off the stock filter and replace it and not have to do anything else.
