Title: wiring rear windows

hi

two switches missing off my rear windows

the wires are 2 black a green red and blue

any one know what sequence to wire these in from top down.

non of those colours match up to my diagrams :(
you'll have to get your multimeter out! you should have 2 or 3 ign live wires, an earth and 2 wires to the window motors.

must buy a multimeter then!!!
Could you tell me though what sequence the windows are wired say where the live goes and the wires from the motor etc.

if they're gen vag switches:

1 - output to window
2 - output to window
3 - power input (ign live)
4 - window lockout switch (earths switch)
5 - power input (ign live)
6 - switch light (ign live usually)

may need to swap 1 & 2 over, if the window doesnt work the right way when you 1st plug it in!
