Title: Wolfsburg Badges help

Hi guys, i was wondering if anyone could tell me, i have just brought sum side indicator wolfsburg badges and was wondering how to put em on? apart from using trim tape of course as doesnt this damage the bodywork? also what should i do with the indicator wireing? any neat way of keeping it on the car?

Here's a "How-To":


Step 1:  Throw them in the bin.

Step 2:  Slap Yourself in the face. Hard.

I've never fitted any but for what its worth I'd poke the wires in, perhaps tape them up first, then stick the badges on with sikaflex windscreen adhesive which dry's hard but is easy to remove when you fail the MOT for not having side indicators.

I have a similar problem, I bought some viper stripes and lex-arse rear lights* but I slapped myself and threw them in the bin, it really DOES work!

My car is still tat free!

Unless they are the original type, (like mine! :smug:), leave them off mate! Or, alternatively, pop the wires back thru the hole, silicone or trim tape them on. And, MOT time, sideys must go back on, unless your tester is one of your mates, again, like mine!!!!!  :smug: :smug:

yeap i was thinking fo doing that taping em to the inside and mot time dont really matter, ma uncles got a garage and he sorts it all out for me so that wont really be a problem at all.. i jus dnt wana stick em on n find i cnt get the sticky stuff off after if i dont like them..humm
