Title: 8v running rich using loads of fuel

After sorting 90 % of the problems on my chav im left with it running rich and using loads of fuel. Is this comon on vdubs??

Any pointers greatfuly recived

try the lambda sensor . mines was knackered and replaced it what a difference it made.  £50 form motor factors

Put it this way my 293 bhp cavalier turbo was only a tad bit more thirsty lol

Plus the dude in the vw dalership next door to my work told me it was it smells of real strong fuel out the rear box

It shouldnt smell out of the exhaust, the cat should stop that.

I would disconect the air mass meter and run it for a few days to see what its like to start.

ok i will give it a go.

Put it up for sale today aswell so i can get an unmodified 16v so got to try sort it and hope a chav wants to buy it lol
