hi all, got a question about replacing the rear bumper on my 87 small bumper cabby,
i have sourced a new bumper dur to my old one being damaged, the problem is i took the old bumper off, leaving a rather larger steel bar outside of the body work.
was planning on just fittng the new bar to the car but the replacement bumpe has 2 brackets on which appear to fit where the bar is currenly.
do i remove the steel bar and just fit the new bumper or is this structual and obviously important to the chassis, i have quickly tried to take the brackets off the bumper but the bolts are rotten so not going to be that easy.
cheers

pop the boot, and you'll see 4 bolts that hold the bumper on. undo these and swap the new bumper on ;)
