Title: vr6 powersteering pumps help

went to replace the pump and the different pumps have the unions pointing
in different directions   :angry:
does anyone know why

Strange, maybe the later type was modified.

Turns out the union is on a screw thread, I'm not sure whether it was built wrongly or it's just because it's going into a MK2 but a vice and a pair of mole grips later, it's pointing the right way and it's still sealed :D
