now then peeps,i am after fitting front fogs in my bumper and was wondering wether its just a simple upgrade of the fogs themselves, the fog swith (vr6) and the wire that connects the two,am i missing anything :embarassed:

You need a fog loom, you can pick one up from a scrappies. The loom is simple plug and play.
And as mentioned you will need the switch

On my first mk3 which didn't have front fogs I wired them myself.
Ran new cables and placed a separate switch on the dash (in one of the blanking plates under heater controls)
I know that this is a long way of doing it but as I had left over power cable it cost next to nothing to do, only time.
Plus I was able to run front fogs separately without any side lights
Totally not on subject but thought that this maybe of interest???

^^^ that's the guy I bought my loom from, fast postage
I just bought the parts over time when they came up on the bay. I just placed a bid for what I was willing to pay and if I got outbid then fair enough but in the end the switch cost me £6 including postage, loom £16 all in and the fogs came with the crystal indicators from a show last year for £40
