Hi, I've got a 97 Mulberry Highline and the paint on the cills and arches is showing signs of rust. As it is the Highline model it doesn't have the plastic covers like the Gti.
I prefer the look of the covers and it would also enable me to do a rough fix of the rust and then cover it with the plastic trim.
Can anybody tell me what is involved?

Easy arches pop rivet on and the holes should be drilled already you will also need to change the door mouldings.
Side skirts again are easy, a long part sticks to the sill and they clip to that with 7 screws underneath to hold them on.
I would not fit them myself however to a highline, they look so much cleaner without.

Thanks for that. So do the arch rivet from the inside of the wing?
Where's the best place to source the parts?

Yes the arches rivet on the inside of the lip, your only option is to source the parts s/h to buy them new is a lot of money.
