Title: The ins and outs

Ok so im waiting for my date to start the RAF training and i have ALOT of time on my hands, my first car is going to be a mk2 gti so i want to learn as much as i can about them, from the engine to the interior to the electrics EVERYTHIN lol.

 So does anyone know of any good sites/links or shall i just buy a manual (haynes) etc

This is a good site to start with so search away, otherwise google is a good friend, PVW has a whole host website listed every month, plenty of info out there..

As Ben said, read all the projects and just generally read on all the main VW forums. You'll pick tons up :)
