t cut will have just  touched the  cause of your problem.

sounds like you need a Machine cut - polish - wax and sealing session

Your fighting a losing battle.

You could have it fully machine polished, then use a high-tech sealant, followed by a VERY good wax with the highest UV protection you can find, and it would still go pink in a matter of months. If you keep doing this, eventually you will burn through the top layer of paint. I went to view a red MkII owned by a semi-pro detailer who had obviously machined it to death and it was going through to the primer in places!!!

If I was you, I would buy some autoglym SRP and a decent wax with UV, and then get used to giving it a quick polish everytime you wash it then top off with the wax - It won't be a "great" finish, but it'll look okay and last a few weeks each time you do it. Then the money you save on machine polishing etc. can be put towards a respray.

I machine polished mine a while ago. Very messy work.

Used G3 with water. Not too watery. Just a nice paste mix.

badly faded and oxidisation

after buffing the hell out of the paint. I used autogylm super resin polish and lots of wax (poorboys wax) that i got off cleanyourcar.co.

Poorboys stuff is alrite. You can apply the wax in direct sunlight and you get no grease marks.

pic of it looking half decent...

after that I waxed it at any chance I had and it came up with an even more deep shine.

That looks realy nice mate, I G3'd the red one in my sig and I appreciate what has been said already but mine did keep its colour very well and I wouldnt say that I wash washing and polishing it every week either. Obviously tornado red is known for fading badly but I think how good or bad it fades varys hugely from car to car.

Hope this has been sorted, but if not if you have no access to a buff then you could do it by hand.

I bought a tornado pink mk3 gti 8v, was pinky/red most areas where faded red, so quick going over with some T-cut, 3 coats of SPR, then 2 coats of dodo juice orange crush, car looked like it just came out a showroom. Was back to its orignal colour in under 3 hours...... amazing
