I have just started to get a whining noise upon acceleration.. its really strange as its never been there before.. I can hear it thru the centre console vents.. it almost sounds like a fan but im not sure.. any ideas??
-
Might be the auto vents changing position, is it continuos or is it like an electric motor noise?
-
If your next door neighbour reports his cat missing atleast you know where it is :lipsrsealed:
Sorry I couldnt be much help

It can only be heared as I accelerate... The higher the revs the louder it gets.. As soon as the engine idles it stops.. Im gutted as I have only had the car 2 weeks

You say it wasnt there before? Is almost like a wooshing sound? Sounds like air being sucked into the engine? You got a standard CAI?
-
