Hi everyone, need you help!!
My car failed its MOT on high emmisions, the garage said it was the cat converter however I believe it was changed 2 years ago.
Waiting for a friend to do a further test to pin point the problem but does anyone have any advice on what else it could be or ways of getting down the emmisions.
Also thought about the air filter causing it as its a aftermarket one or have thought about changing injectors.
If anyone has any help or had the same problem let me know.
Thanks

Cat or lambda problems to be honest is where to start.
-
stick a bottle of redex through the syste,. It will lower emmisions by far.
-
Inspect the exhaust for leaks! Use redex, give the car a good beating to clear it through, I Failed 2 of my cars from small leaks. Then try a new lambda sensor if all else fails. Doubt its the cat.

Wynns Pre-MOT treatment! Works everytime.
