Title: hall sensor

hi can anyone help me ive used a vagcom thing and it came up hall sensor out of specification what does this mean and will it make my car run crap ???
my car is a 8v gti
any help will be much appreciated

Did you have the engine running when running VAG-COM or was just the ignition on?
