Hi peeps.
well i need to decide asap on what to do about my clutch.
i was thinking of just running a cable clutch as i already have in my car and using the seat clutch actuator with the 02a box out of a mk3 16v.
but not sure if its worth the hassle of sourcing all the hydro clutch stuff from an 02a car. this means the the whole hydro clutch setup, including pedal box.
tried removing the pedal box the other nite and it seems it may be attached to the steering column, but im not sure.
Seems like a lot of hassle and just wondering if its all worth it. is the difference that much?
btw, if anyone has any links or advice or parts that i need then feel free to help! LOL!
cheers :)

Toledo cable and Passat actuator FTW. There's at least one post from me on here with the part numbers you need.
Hydraulic clutches are for laydees.

ahh toldedo cable, lots of people use the mk2 1.3 cable, but say that they keep snapping every few months. so i guess the toledo cable is stronger, good stuff.
i got a part number for the actuator, and went to vw. apparently its also used on a transporter. i might go to seat and check, cause the post i got the number from said it was off an ibiza.
but if you were in my position, you would choose the cable clutch?
haha, it makes life easier for fitting!
cheers DH :)

I would go for a cable clutch, much easier to sort and will work out cheaper.
