Title: Differences in front panel?

hi guys?

does anybody know the differences between the front panels?

are they interchangable? ive heard that people who have made there cars into gti replicas have had to change the front panel aswel? is this true?

just wondering if i could use any one to get my car sorted

you don't need to change the front panel but there is alot of modding to the front bumper if you dont,  the gti front panel has the tow hook in a different place to the normal Golf so its just a big issue if you break down and don't change the panel, all other panels off the gti are just the same has the normal golf.

I think the front area where the crash bar goes is different aswell but not by much there is a couple of how-2 to fitting the gti bumper without the panel.
