Title: RANDOM BUT COFUSING BOOT STRUTS

Hey all thanks for looking,

right replaced my tailgate on my mk3 vr6 and cant get the boot struts back on! ill push as hard as i can but cant keep it compressed and get them on!??????!

probs summin im missing but can anyone explain how???

is there an easier way???

From memory you should find a small circlip, pop that off and fit the strut then refit the clip.
