Title: whats first??

Hi all. im picking up a 52 reg Golf GTi this Friday and would like to first of all but an exhaust and air filter on it.  No clue what to go for. Any ideas??

right, so a guy comes on here, asks what exhaust and air filter for his 52 reg gti, and you all answer with coilovers  :rolleyes:

Milltek, Blueflame or custom made exhausts.

thanks all.  hopefully get some shopping done soon.  picked the car up today rather than tomorrow.  love it.   silly question follows...... although the book says 2.0 GTi, the car itself has no GTi badges? is this normal for a car of this year?

AFAIK from what I've heard the Mk4 2.0 wasn't always badged as a GTI. Mind you, many would say that it's performance isn't enough to justify the GTI badge.

Besides which, it's a 7 year old car, the badges could have been removed during that time by a previous owner.
