Post by: Martz on 29 April 2009, 20:55
Hey ooop,

I will be purchasing tomorrow a set and want to know everyones opinion on what they have. I want to know value for money. Options are -

Powerflex, Bugpack and GSF Brand poly bushes............................................

What have you got on your car, I can go top whack, but why should I if I can get similar to what I want? I also need gaskets (head and exhaust, so should be a good few weekends spent getting her ready to go to Stoner!

Cheers all

I have power flex on mine. Seem good but then i have no comparison to report. Not the cheapest tho and over packaged which is something that annoys me.

Got the GSF bugpack on mine, but I didn't use the rear axle bush inserts that fit into the OEM axle bush. I did try, fitting them into brand OEM axle bushes, but they were a right pain in the arse, and would probably be a waist of time anyway.

I fitted the steering rack bushes, which don't seem to be much diference in feel, but I can't remember if I fitted the top mount bushes on the struts. (Will have to look when its stops peeing down )

The bump stops look crap so I didn't bother with them.

But the front bushes made a hell of a difference from my knackered ones, as the car won't wonder around just for going over a white line on the road.

I would go for a powerflex or these http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=533_741_761&products_id=5127 front and rear axle, next time, only because the waste of polly stuff from the bugpack jobbys, and the OEM rear bush was a total utter bstard to fit back in.
