Title: does a mk3 gti 8v have lamba sesor

i have recently done an engine convertion on my mk2 used at 2.0 8v engine its running really bad an misfiring, an also does the mk3 have a lamba sensor as there not one on the manifold

Yeah, they do, I have had mine changed recently.

just unplug it to check it. if no chenge plug it back in.  mk3 8 v & 16v engines will run ok without lambda  there just a bit better on fuel with it connected

misfireing will more than likely be ignition based.    2e or agg

if agg hav a good look at the lead from the cranck position sensor
