Title: Head gasket kit - what are these?

The head is coming back from the machine shop tomorrow so getting closer  :smiley:
Anyway, looking at my head gasket kit, 8v, I've identified everything apart from these 2 bits (sorry about the dodgy mobile pic):

The bit on the right is metal, and seems to be the same radius as the metal piston rings on the head gasket but cannot work out what it's for!

is it not the packing from the exhaust ??

yeah the big ring looks like the toilet bowl downpipe seal, and the wee one on the left looks like the carby coolant channel o'ring :)

Ok, so I don't need the rubber one if I've got an injection system I guess. And haven't moved the downpipe at all so guess I don't need that either. Exhaust wasn't blowing before.
