Title: Anyone know what these two cables are?

My aerial doesnt work at all, i was having a look under the glove box panel and these two wires dropped out.

Anyone know what they are? I figure one must be for a multi disc changer and the other *hopefully* one end of an aerial? The pic only half shows it but the one of the right hand side has quite a long cable.

Surely the one on the right is co-axial and should attach to your aerial or the back of a radio? (although i've not seen that fitment for a radio) Screw on cap on it makes me think that, plus aerials use co-ax.

That is 100% old wiring for a handsfree kit.

educated guess, auto electrician for over 6 years! looks like old old bt kit. i think the aerial runs behind pass side carpet on my 8v
