Hi there, gonna check my cam follower soon and got a question. If I do need to change the follower, should I grease the new one before installing it? What grease should I use and how would I go about applying it to the follower?
Thanks

Is there a problem with it?
-
Nothing is wrong with it, just if I do need to replace it.
-
Not sumin I thought that should go wrong or easily replaced. It should get greased up from the oil once the engine has started!

This is the cam follower for the HPFP, forgot to say that before!
-
Bump. Anyone know?

A small amount of moly grease on both the surfaces is recommended. You just smeat it on the surface.
Make sure you release the pressure from the system using the bleed valve on the HPFP before your start!

Do I apply it on the head of the follower where it touches the cam lobe and also inside the follower where the HPFP spring+piston goes into?

Yes, that's what APR recommend.
