Title: coilovers fitting question

does anybody know the diamiters for the 18mm bolts that you remove from the bottom of the strut assembly? as im installing my coilovers tomorrow and wont to replace these as i go along....

If you mean the 2 bolts that hold the strut to the hub then get them from Vw, not expensive but needs to be a higher grade then you can buy.

Correct size but they are a higher strength bolt than standard over the counter items.

Not 100% sure but they and the nut have a built in washer as well, they were not expensive from Vw and it is not something you want to fail really.

ok thanks, are they the same size bolts on the rear suspension to?
