Hi could anyone tell me where my air temperature sensor is on my golf mk3 gti 16v?

is it behind the driver fog light.

is on my 8v.

can you tel me y my golf dont idle it used to idle wen it got warm, but mow it dont idle at all i changed my idle valve it still dont idle?

its the sensor plugged into the tube leading up to the TB, part of airbox.
