Title: mk3 golf estate wishbone

i replaced the passager side wishbone a few months ago.
now the problem is when braking hard or driving over a pothole (that i try to miss)
the a loud knocking noise from that side?
i looked on euro car parts the list two wishbones hatchback and estate?

wot to do  :undecided:

Well, As far as i know there are only two,  GTI and Non GTI, yours would be non GTI i would imagen so thats correct,  First off, check out the anti roll bar links! i paied £7.00 for mine and that stoped the rattly knock over bumps,  i get a big crack/clonk over speed bumps which was the top mounts, neither are much money so give the wishbones a good yank and see if they are loose or have splits in the bushes, if there is no obvious damage stick ARB links on and then try top mounts.

The wishbone would be the same, I would think your top mount has had it.
