Title: window motors the same in 2 and 4 door?

simple question really chaps, is it true that the electric window motors are the same in both 2 and 4 door golfs, or is mr ebay just trying to make a few quid regardless.

I read on here that the regulators are different to accompany different weight glass (the 3 door doors are longer than the 5 doors)

nope 3 & 5 door motors are the same, its small & big glass ones that differ.  I have had my window kit in a 5 door driver and a 3 door gti ;)
