Just wondering if mk2 gti calipers will fit onto mk 3 driver hubs as i have a set laying around in a friends garage and the discs are the same size ???
also the driver is only 4 stud like mk 2 golfs
thanks

the discs are the same size.
not 100% on calipers.
i have fitted mk2 16v hubs, calipers, disc and pads there alot better.

Lol, this is the total opposite to the MK2 forum. Why not just fit MK3 GTi brakes and get 288mm for relatively little effort.

...little effort.....remember that m3 gti/vr6 are 5 stud where as a mk3 driver is 4 stud so would be easier with the mk2 gear.

Wasn't there early GTi models with 4 stud?
Its not like its hard to change over to 5 stud though, new front hubs + disks and rear disks?

All gti's were 5 stud....surely easier to run mk2 gear though, well easier than changin hubs n tings.

i will answer this a bit more....get some mk2 caliper carriers, use the mk3 calipers with 256mm mk2 vented discs and slim mk2 pads (there's 2 thicknesses on these). My mk3 driver had this set up (all them years ago!)

if the discs are the same size then the answer is yes :)
