today my g60's no1 cylinder decided to stop working. i have been through the ignition system, leads, plugs, cap and rotor. this made no difference. when running you can disconnect the no1 ht lead and it makes no difference to the running. I think theres fuel going to it as with plugs in 2,3,4 and not in 1 i can smell fuel. Also did a compression check and all is fine.
am i missing something? im not that familiar with the g60 yet!
my thoughts are it must be fuel related as ive changed all the ignition bits. ive left the coil as i would have thought if thats broken it would affect all 4 cylinders

sounds like an injector has given yup pull them out and swap two over, DF1 is batch injection so fires all ionjectors together, if misfire moves its the injector if it remains on cyl 1 or dissapears alltogerther it the fuel rail rail loom

i did all that today and yup its an injector at fault, good call!
hopefully it can be cleaned/serviced as i dont want to fork out £50 for one  ive tested the resistance on the injectors and they are all showing the right value so hopefully ones just clogged up

do the lot as a set though, last thing you want is a set of missmatched injectors.

im getting them all getting cleaned at the moment so fingers crossed that sorts it!
