Hi guys.. and gals!
I'm looking to replace the sold plastic mud flaps (front and rear) on my mk3 gti with rubber (and therefore flexible) ones... The reason for this is that my golf has been dropped by 40mm and they're going to rip off sometime if I don't take them off. I had thought about just taking them off but it just doesn't look right to me.
anyone got any idea where to find some that would fit? or anyone played with this idea already.? Hints tips all welcome
Thanks

fair enough, just distresses me to see the bottom edges all chewed up.. where I live there's loads of places they catch (roads up here aint so good for anything lower than standard)
As you say tho, they aint come loose oranything just seeking advice
Cheers

I know what you mean, mine get chewed up over time but you can normally just 'peel' the damaged bit off, or I sometimes wet & dry mine smooth again if they start to look too bad.
Wouldn't worry about it too much, IMO the original rubber ones look better plastic ones too! :)
