hiya all ,

im new here, so dont flame me!!

ive got a nice H reg (natural big bumber) mk2 gti, royal blue with full VAG fsh, very original with no mods.  i'm looking to swap for a decent mk1 1.8 gti rust free and abuse free like mine.  just thought i would ask if anyone is interested. i can supply pics/ arrange viewing / test drive etc.

you're not the only one wanting to swap for a bit of Mk1 action. Only I need to get something to insure my learner girlfriend on, so I think a Mk1 GTI is out of the running.

So, my Mk2 16v will be for sale soon, boo hoo  :'(

But it will mean I can get a reasonable Mk1, then later I can swap the engine for something a bit bigger.

thanks for the friendly welcome guys.

my plan too nottanother16vfan, i fancy restoring a mk1 and nipping in a cheeky 16v engine or maybe an audi 1.8 225bhp (i've heard thats possible  ??? ) but keeping the car looking fairly standard/bit euro

also how did u get that pic in at the bottom,  i want to do that!
