Hello, I ran 8" d90's with a 52mm offset on the rear of my golf with 20mm spacers and got a little rub on the inside edge, they sat very close to the swing arm, so I bought 25mm spacers and they were spot on.
With 9" rims you may need to run wider adapters to get the clearence, if the offset is the same - I guess you may have more arch space though if you have the Rallye arches so wider spacers may be ok?
8" on the front should be fine with 25mm spacers.

Cheers dude, its complicated trying to get the stance spot on
ive been told that others use so many different sizes i need to test some really

If it's a Rallye I would advise you to keep same width rims and tyre size all round, or you're likely to tear the drivetrain to pieces and never mind the ghey 'stance'.
