Title: Early mk2 indicator stalk... same as mk1??

As the title says,  is an early mk2 gti stalk the same as a mk1 gti one

it will plug in yes, there are different mk1 stalks depending how old the car is though, some have the 1/2 switch on the end of the stalk + button, some have the 1/2 switch on a knob on clock face and just an mfa button on the stalk.
