Post by: Wazzzer on 19 April 2009, 19:19
What tools do you lot have in your spare wheel well? Mine looks a bit empty

I've got:

Widow maker, locking wheel nut key, towing eye, spanner, screwdriver

p.s.  I think you're missing the wheel centre cap removal tool??  It's a little metal ring with a lug/hook on it.

Yeah as above, you should have a centre cap removal tool that lives in the long thin gap between the jack and the locking nut key.
I never had one with my car so made one out of a large paperclip!!!

The large gap in the center is for a detachable tow bar :afro:

No screw driver or spanner in mine, think i got a screwdriver from an old MK2, what size should the spanner be as i might have one of them to from an old car, got the wheel centre thingy, wondered why there was a bit of string with a bit of metal on the end in there.
