right it looks like i will be upgrading my Turbo in the next month or so and i wanted to know where i could by a new K03s turbo from. Also if anyone knows where i can get a k03s hybrid or K04 turbo set up from then id appreciate it.

For the hassle/expense of a KO4, you may as well go Garrett/IHI etc (IMO).
KO3 S is a very good mod for the money/simplicity, though. You need a bit of luck & patience finding a good'un. Keep your eyes peeled in all the classifieds (here, uk-mkivs, Briskoda, SeatCupra, etc, etc.

So is there no where that can supply K03s turbos new or reconned/Hybrid?
Where would be the best place to get a IHI turbo kit from, would it be using a GT28rs turbo?

No, that would be using the IHI turbo found on Scoobies etc. Garrett is a different turbo. ;)
I'm yet to be convinced on the longevity of the 'hybrids' & I'd also avoid those brand new Chinese copies. I got lucky with a brand new 'S' - It was on uk-mkivs advertised as just a 'KO3'. ;)
You could always buy a s/h one & get it re-furbed.

Im only looking to spend around 1k on upgrading, so think my best option would be K03s, re-map, FMIC and if i have money left maybe look at fueling side of things.
-
i know that the K03s can use my original manifold, exhaust, oil lines etc. But is there anything else that people recommend doing at the same time, service bits or upgrade?

You need the k03's TIP or get a silicone one :nerd:
-
Just a Forge TIP. I'd recommend the AGU one over the AUM TIP. ;)
-
ready have a Forge TIP for mine. Would i need to change the N75 valve?

Would i need to change the N75 valve?
Debatable not really
-
Guess R-Tech would be able to map my car using the standard valve.
Ivor - are you using a K03s set up?
-

-

Yes, I've got a KO3-S'd AGU running an R-Tech Spec 2 map, if that's what you mean?! It's all in the siggy! :P

I wouldn't bother if it's not faulty. If it is, then play safe, & get the F, IME. ;)
-
What K04 set up did you get Maxxeh, what work was involved to get it to fit and up and running.
Ivor - does your setup really put you back in your seat? was psi boost the stage 2 map give you?
-
k04-001 direct bolt on. got it from backdraft £800
look on you tube for people that have them
-
does look very tempting, may have to give them a call and see what they say.
