where can i get a vag com from? do they work on all golfs with ecu? all software included with it?

Ebay for a cheap lead and the freeware version or buy from Ross tech for a few hundred notes  :wink:

cool, so u just download the software and off you go? it let you do the alarm and airbag reset etc etc etc?

No you got to have the full version for all that. with the freeware you can run a scan and log data  :wink:

yep, look at Rosstechs website for prices  :lipsrsealed: you can buy a unlock code for the freeware version if you got a cheap lead this is $99 and will only work on one laptop and only with thee 409 version IIRC
