Title: noise from passenger door?
Post by: Phil18t on 16 April 2009, 22:05
as the title, ive got an annoying rattle coming from my passenger door, if i get a passenger to open the door slightly whilst driving it stops. could this be the door hinges or the catch? cheers.

check the trim isn't rubbing against the side of the dashboard

mine was doing this and needed the door card to come off and refitted - 5-10 minute job

its not the door card rubbing on the dash, its from the rear of the door. and cheers for the link but cant see it being the catch, theres nothing physically wrong with it. cheers.

I have exeactly the same problem.

First i thought it was the window itself or the dreadded regulator, then i thought it was the piece of head lining directly above the door.

Surfice to say it was neither, but im convinced i will find it in the end and ill let you know when i do!
