Title: SUM HELP PLEASE

ok put new engine into my car all going well till i took it out for a run tonite it seems like it has a misfire between 30 - 40 mph in 3 4 and 5th gear after that its fine and before its fine to does anyone have any ideas ?

the misfire isnt that bad but you can feel it in the car


any help would be appreciated thanks

How much of the engine did you put in? Was it just internals or complete new unit? Any ancillaries with it?


I mean symptoms sound like the ECU realy but if in the engine swap or whatever something hasnt been reconnected etc. well who knows!

I dont know but vag-com shows nothing,the relays are fine and it has a new temp sensor....so it must be  :undecided:

put complete engine parts from old engine were swapped over ecu starter etc can anyone tell me what vacuuum hose and where it might be  ????

also i took the plug leads off one by one and started the car i only saw a spark from one out of the 4 are they meant to spark all the time ?????
