Ok as you know i decided to have a go at changing my rear beam bushes at the weekend but in the end decided to let a garage fit them  Well took the car to a local garage yesterday to get them fitted dropped my car off before 9 and about 12ish the lad at the garage rang to say that the car was ready :afro: and tbh he's done top job  left the car tidy to(more than i can say for the stealers) and i got the bushes fitted for the total of £40  well happy had a look at the old ones and he had got them out in one piece but the rubber inside was starting to break a little so glad i got them changed

Early Views after driving it for a few miles seem good seems alot better to but i found yesterday that i still had my annoying creaking noise from the rear o/s even with the new bushes  i posted up on here (in Feb iirc) about this  well had a word with the mechanic and to be fair he asked me if i was aware of it because he could hear it when he took it out after talking with him i immediately knew what needed doing/replacing (i did have this in mind awhile ago tbh :smug:)yes it was a faulty rear o/s shock absorber so rag 'DPM' and they had a replacement on the shelf credit for dpm for sorting the shock out  so called round there this morning collected the new 'jom' shock and set to fitting it got it all fitted without any problems and took the car out for a test result NO more noise!!!!!!  am well happy now finally sorted it!!!! and at least i have the rear bushes done as well :afro:
