Hi,
With the risk of sounding stupid can any1 tell me what the Wolfsburg edition means?
I've got a 1981 mk1 gti, and have seen some cool accessories such as window handles, mirror adjusters etc with the 'Wolfsburg edition' logo on it.
Thinking of getting some, but think I need to know what it means first, and will it look out of place in my car??
Cheers guys :)

wolfsburg is the greatest car factory in the world. its where our dubs are made 8)

;D
I thought so, but is there a special Wolfsburg edition, or is that all Dubs?
Cheers

not that i know of, although everyones free to correct me.
some dubs are karmann edition (just mark 1 cabs, bugs and ghias?? i think) which is like a break away sub division from the wolfsburg factory , but wolfsburg is the mecca for all us dubbers really ;D
the accesories with it written on are definately very kool 8)

Hasnt it just been renamed? The whole town as well. Think its Golfsburg now. :D

Karmann is a design studio that did the work to make a mk1 into a cab. It is independent of VW and I think now owned by Ford.
Wolfsburg is the town in Germany that the VW factory is in.
The Wolfsburg Edition thing is as far as I know, completely invented. R&A Design seem to have gone for making everything possible with that logo on. It's not a VW invented thing at all :)
