Help, Any ideas where I can get the lower spoiler for a big bumper clipper kit for my cab?

Awesome (http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/mk1golfprices.html) do the VR6 for ?75.
Looks like the one on mine, below.
 or you could try GPC (http://www.gpcvwaudi.com/index.htm) for an original thin one.

Could be a VR6 one that came off, however it needs fettling to bring it up to standard of the rest of the car.  Can't decide what to do yet, but at least I know there are options out there.  :)
