I would do a search but for some reason work systems won't allow me to :(
Any ideas if 15" wheels will fit over the above breaks? 17" wheels are just too much for me!

hi, i had 280mm G60 brakes and ats cups and i couldnt get them to fit at all, i would have needed a 1cm spacer at least and then they touched the arches so i decided to put my standard brakes back on. When i had some 16v bbs RAs they did fit but the pads were worn when i fitted them and wouldnt fit with fresh pads and discs. 17" is defo to big for me too.

Guess it's time to have a look around at 16" wheels, I dont know of many nice 16" 4 studs. :(

early seat ibiza cupras have 16" 4 studs and are a decent looking OEM alloy.

Will take a look when I get in from work at them, thanks for that.

should have said "some" as they seemed to change the style every few years.
The ones i've seen are a multispoke (16 spokes?) design.

How about some 16x8 Rota Cups?
Or 16x7.5 lensos!

This is interesting, and apologies if this is a hijack, I have bought some mk3 carriers and calipers and done plenty of searching on here and other forums of late to get the definitive answer to the BBS RA's / 280mm question, and it appears some do and some don't fit ET35 vs ET38 apparently. However I am trying to understand if the spacer suggestion is a good step or not, I am unsure of the downsides to be honest so any info on this also would be much appreciated. Again apologies if this is deemed a hijack.

Just looking at Rota Cups as you posted that :) Tempted by the Rota Cups :)
Don't worry about it Draper, its a very valid question on the topic, as they where the wheels I originaly wanted ^_^

well i fitted my ats cups my pads and discs were half way worn so all i needed was a 3mm spacer and they fitted fine, with only a 3mm spacer i didnt notice any contact on the arch and it seemed fine, also my bbs ET38 fitted fine with pleanty of pad and disc but the cups are quite a tight design anyway with not much room for the caliper

Was that on similar Break set-up?
