I came out of my house this morning at six am to discover the local kn*bheads have been at it, or rather at my car, once again. >:(
Following last years attack on both front doors, bootlid and rear quarter windows in an attempt to gain entry, this bunch of talentless tw4ts attacked only the drivers door, but managed in ripping a hole no less than 6" by 4" in the metal work. Photos will be uploaded tomorrow.
Proving just how stupid these punks are, they still didn't gain access to the PD. Whilst I am highly annoyed that I will end up driving a 1 litre polo hire car over the weekend, I can still chuckle that my humble Mk4 keeps shrugging off these, pretty savage, attacks - they have still yet to gain access to the interior!!! ;)
Short of stealing some empty McDonalds cartons, old copies of FHM or an aifreshner I really don't know what these people are expecting to find inside - It's not like I drive round with the Hope diamond in my glovebox.
Oh well, never mind, on to better things - who's coming on a trackday this weekend, I've got the perfect car......... ;D
-
sorry to hear is matey. Golf's seem to be pretty good at keeping out the tea leaves. I found mine with the lock mashed up one morning after it was parked in the street for the night. Now I've gone for de-locked handles on both sides.
-
f**king shoot them >:(
-
I'm sorry to hear that mate.
I goddam hate those little jealous fcuckers >:(
I went out one morning to find my car keyed from the rear panel, along the passenger door, up the front wing and along the bonnet. Right down to the metal as well.
-
Shooting is 2 good for these low life. What they need is death by stoning. That will stop them.
-
De-locking kits for the mk4 are about ?20 ready painted (i think)
not that it actually makes it any harder to break into since sticking a screwdriver in the barrel does nothing anyway. Will probably make your genious car criminals think twice though.
-
Thats harsh man, should wait around for anyone suspicious with the worlds largest wrench to batter them with ;D
-
Although, my mk2 is easy to get into if you know how, as i found out by mistake and a bit of annoyance
-

-
nah.. get someone else to do it, no point getting sent down for GBH or attempted murder over a car, not even a dub !
-
this day an age you trap a thief and drop kick the nobber as many times possible, the pigs lock you up and make you the flipping victim. the law is never on your side no wonder crime is even higher yet we are led to believe road saftey is the best its ever been, poor excuse for having far too many traffic cops
if a pro thief wants your car he'll have it, my sisters mini was towed away in a college carpark and no one suspected a thing.
wanna be heros if thats the damage they have caused and didnt get in.
there are far too many inbred morons out there who spend more time dossing and envying everyone elses possessions instead of actually doing something in life rather than hang out in tribes outside a newsagent
-
^ yup.. its not worth being a vigilante these days..
btw.. dont you people have alarms? or do you park away from the house or something?
and do you have visible stuff like flashy red alarm light and "protected by xxxxx" stickers?
mine is parked under a window at the front of the house..
the people opposite have a corrado vr6.. our cars have the same alarm fitted.. so every time there's a false alarm we end up laughing across the street at each other...
its good having that feeling that even if we miss it, they might not.. :)
-
I would thinks its quite difficult to nick a new vw, as they all have a transponders built into the key, not like easy hotwiring anymore.
-
The other week my missus saw someone hanging around my car, i went out with a baseball bat.
f**k it, no-one else will see it, do it.
The prick was gone by time i went out ;)
-
::)
good form of self preservation.
some chav thingy was looking rite into my dub outside my house the other day.... :o
didnt have the baseball bat to hand so i took out my German Shepard insted.
no f**king messin >:(
-
nice ;)
i say f**k it, don't take sh!t from these morons.
-
yeh man,
dont let them for 1 minute think they can get away with it, cos if they do they will start taking the piss.
and when you catch, hit em hard so they dont f**kin come back >:(
its funny :D,
people dont f**k around with your car when you have got a big old German shepard ready to rip there throat out ;)

-
jeebus
-
omfg!! :o bad luck sheps, that dont look good at all :'(
-
Why so much damage?
What were they trying to get at?
Is this why reinforced door plates are available?
F**kin B'stards - real numpty amateurs
-
fooking hell that looks sh!tty s11eps,
if some one did that to my dub id get my dog to rip a whole the same size out if there face!!!!!!! >:(
-
There was nothing on show, face plate was off the stereo, so they must know its got a half decent stereo in it. I'm not the sort of person that drives round with the windows down with the tunes pumped up, so I'm at a loss to know why they did it.
-
cos there chav cu*ts >:(
-
If u short out the door lock does it cut off the immobiliser? Were they actually trying to steal the car?
-
Nasty! What did the Police say? If they can be bothered to come out that is!
-
Police SOCO came out to fingerprint the car, which was clean of prints, but she took some fibres from the sharpest bits of metal (which swere presumably from gloves they wore, hence no prints) and some imressions of the scrape marks made by whatever tools they used.
The SOCO woman said that on older cars, if you can get to the wires of the central locking you can short them out, which will energise the locking, unlock the car and switch the alarm off.
The technique they used to (try) to get into the car suggests tht they didn't really know what they were doing, so I guess they were going for contents, rather than steal the entire car.
It just goes to show how car security has moved on, as that's two fairly hefty attempts at getting in, and they've failed both times.
-
I thought you live in a nice area Simon :-\
-
that's one hell of a chuffing mess >:(wouldnt been easier for them to smash the god damm window ::)effing halfwits.gutted for you mate :'(
-
that's what seems odd, why not just smash the window? deadlocks I guess so would still be hard work to get in. b&stardos >:(
-
Smashing the window would have been easier I would have thought, however they would have set the alarm off then wouldn't they? Maybe they were trying to get at the wiring to overide the central locking and alarm :-\

My neighbour puts a special dye under hie wingmirrors, because he is fed-up of people messing around with them.
Then all he has to do is sit in his front room and wait for a lad with green hands to walk past...

Excellent!
nyone remember that guy that wired his Cossie up. Anyone who touched it got a electric shock :o, he got sued for doing that by a theive! And the other theive that got in a car and got a spring stuck in his backside, again the owner got sued.

I do mate, but thanks to the Labour party's fabulous housing policy, a developer has to make a percentage of any new development available to 'affordable/social housing'.
In no way do I wish to tar everyone with the same brush or make wild accusations, but the first break in happened two weeks after all the social housing on the edge of the development became occupied.
I can't understand why the government thinks that putting these sorts of homes in the same area as ?200-500k houses is in any way a positive move, because as far as I'm concerned there is no sense of integration whatsoever.
Sorry if this causes anyone any offence, (and I certainly didn't wish to turn this into a political thread) but I'm still smarting a wee bit :-[
-
Totally agree with you there mate. If I wanted a cheap house in a cheap area next to rough people, I would choose to live there. But I don't, and I don't want these people near me.
I bet the MP's that thought of this idea don't have the same problem. Course they don't! >:(

Sorry to see the mess that those d*ck heads have made to your motor. I hate it when people are prepared to cause greater value in damage than they're actually going to steal. Especially when you have nuffin' on show like in your case.
Darren.
-
Bloody hell Simon , i just looked at the pics, what was the point of that?
I totally agree with you about the housing policy.
Where ever we go now, there is scum.
Unfortunately buying a 200k house is no guarantee anymore, some scum could still be living next door to you, as they would have probably bought their council house years ago, sold it for huge profit, and bought a house in a 'nice' area.
I hope the new area i'm moving to won't be too bad, as its not as nice as where i am now :-\
-
U'll prob scare most of the chavs off!!
They wanted your car bad!! Its horrible wen they do that!! Esp the thicko's that broke into mine charged my battery and inflated ma tyres ???
-
My new house is gonna be camera'd up to the 9's and has a private driveway instead of a parking courtyard (like my current house does).
I did think about putting cameras up to cover the driveway at my current house but I'm moving in 8 weeks, and probably won't have my GTi back for two, so there really isn't much point.
I went through the thought process yesterday of
"F*ck it, get rid of the GTi and get an anonymous Ford Focus or something that no-one will bother looking twice at".
That lasted all of two minutes, then I drove mine to the Bodyshop, and blew loads of cars away on the way and thought
"I'll be buggered if some chav sh!tbag is gonna dictate what car I get, stick with speed!!!"
Don't let them win!
-
aaaargh! That's one incredible mess!
Get a garage next time mate.
I always feel confident putting my car away at night in her little home that no harm will come to her.
-
thats rite dont let the chav f**k*rs win!!!!
make sure you catch em next time and beat the cu*ts up! :D >:(
-
Get a garage next time mate.
I've got one mate, and the wife's car goes in there - I'd rather it was my car that was attacked rather than hers, as mine is covered under the company insurance, so no worries about excess and no claims etc.
Judging by how motivated they were to get in, if it was in a garage they probably would have broken into it to get to the car and not only would I then have a f*cked garage door to deal with, but that would have given them somewhere to shelter and continue with their destructive work, and I probably would have ended up loosing my stereo gear too.
No matter what you do mate (short of taking the car in to your house and sleeping in it) if they want you car or its contents, the scummers will have it.
-
Right there S11EPS - my Mi 16 was in my locked garage, they broke in and as car was being repaired it wasnt locked/alarmed, but they ripped out the whole stereo system except the 12" sub that they coulnt get at, but drivered it. And i mean ripped, destroyed the centre console and part of the dash, broke the drivers seat etc.
-
Looks like they where more interested in damaging the door than getting into the car!!
-
Sorry to hear about the t0ssers doing that to your motor, it winds you up when you see stuff like this even when it's not your car, I reckon we sould be able to shoot the b'stards. Never seen a door skin as shagged as that though, what were they thinking, they were deffo amatuers just by looking at the mess. Hope it all gets sorted soon. :)
