Title: Need help sourcing parts for my US Golf III
Post by: uta_flyinghigh on 14 April 2009, 14:04
It appears I need parts (both standard and aftermarket) for my US Golf III GL.
It's got the GTI 8V engine but as it's the base car for the US, it seems the suspension setup is more like "normal" Golfs.

I also have no idea if the US Golfs had a GTI brake setup or not.

Can anyone shed some light ?

Thanks

UTA

Surely the easiest way is to measure the discs?

I take its 1 four stud,so i doubt it will.my old vento had the 2.0 8v but smaller discs and calipers

you will probably have the 4 stud vented disks like the TDI, bigger than the non vented i think but not nearly as big as GTI spec.

search for parts using a 2.0 8v vento/jetta (non gti) as your base.....the spec will be closest to yours

Thanks. I have a ton of parts to order from GSF and want to make sure I don't order them wrong.
