Thats what i thought, but if not maybe autoglym tar remover it gets rid of most stuff
or invest in a pet lizard, they eat bugs!

If you want a low tech option, if you make a strong solution of warm to hot water and car shampoo and "mist" it onto the affected area, e.g. with a house plant hand sprayer thingy, then mist it again ten minutes later, then again, etc, eventually the bugs will wash off easily.

Bit late now but another low tech approach is to get an old towel and soak it in water/shampoo. Drape it over the area and leave it for an hour or so. The little buggers should wipe of easily then.
