Title: HID 6000K OR 8000K FOR MY MK4 GOLF???

hello again guys
a quick question, which would u say is the best HID kit to get a 5000k, 6000k, or a 8000k and which is legal and not? thanks anthony

Im not saying dont get them - just the facts  :smiley:

most cars with OEM HIDs come with 4300k

Quite straight forward - i think you have to mod the headlight cover on the MK4 tho  :smiley:

you have to drill a hole in the back plate of the headlight, then fitting is straight forward after that

What sort of lights do u need for hid? Projectors? And how much am I talkin for an hid kit then?

I got Xenon blue tinted main bulbs (seller said they were legal - but that was ebay!)

and led side lights - nice and bright they are too.

don't think I'm breaking any laws and quick enough to change come MOT time if I am.

they are stupidly easy to fit, pretty much plug and play apart from drilling a hole in the cover. i do kinda regret getting them if im honest tho...
