Title: A3 alloys on a mk3 question

Anybody here fitted Audi A3 pepper pots to their mk3?.
iv`e just bought a set in mint condition and theyre quite cheap. i`m thinking of doing a little bit of a paint job on them to get that desired look.
i know theyre not the nicest looking alloys and all that but my golf isnt exaclty the nicest looking either..
basically all im asking is has anybody here fitted them and does anybody have a pic with them on?.

very common wheels on a mk3, a pic of some on a mk3 in the a3 pepper pot sale thead.

ye i had them fitted for a short time while my bbs were getting refurbed, they'll fit fine but mine was like a monster truck with the tyre profile on them.  :grin:

Probably look really good if the they had low profiles on an the car was slammed.  :smiley:

well, mine is slammed, lol and i will be fitting 195/50`s going for some yoko parada`s.
im also looking to painting parts of the wheels gloss black so fingers crossed should look tidy. i werent to sure if they were a straight fit.

deffo straight fit with the correct tyres. excellent for the euro look.

I know  :grin: as i said though they wer only temporary. Had them from my A3 as i decided to sell the car with the rs4 rep alloys.
@Jamie offer me the right price an their yours with the monster tyres  :laugh:

lol. already bought some minters, a set of 5 for £50, no tyres though :undecided:
