Does depend how low you go. The lower you get the worse the handling gets. Just gets too stiff.

i always thought it was the opposite way around...the lower you go, the smoother it gets?

The helper spring gets very tight when its raised so i thought it would mean a harsher ride?

Not on Supersports - they get progressively harder the lower you go. I should know - mine are wound all the way down! 8)

It wouldn't make sense for them to get softer when they are lower, if you reduce the gap between body and wheel you want to be stiffening the dampers to prevent rubbing, when they are up high you've got the room to bounce around, as opposed to when you are low and there is hardly any space for movement.

Heh!!  When Lairy1 says all the way, he means ALL the way!

I was thinking about a set of those. I don't want the ride rock hard though when it's -80mm down.

as long as the wishbones dont drop below the horizontal you'll be fine

once they go below the horizontal your handling is banjo'd
