Title: Revo Remap Experience
Post by: waddler on 13 April 2009, 09:50
I tried the superchips bluefin for my ed30 but didn't like it.  Too much torque low down and the throttle map game me 100% power with the peda half pressed.  It made the power too on - off with no adjustability.  Went back to standard and much prefered it.......

Is the revo the same???

Thanks

Odd, not my experience at all on my Edition 30 SC BF remap ... I love mine - very progressive.  Everyones ideas of what they like will always differ I suppose.

Just got an updated map from superchips and have only driven for 5 minutes but it seems much much better.  The power comes in much more progressively and higher in the rev range vs the old map.  Will go out for a spin later tonight but looks good so far!!!!

Anyone know any places in the Yorkshire (or close) region?

Also want to try it myself before I do shell out for it.

forget my last post as just searched the 5 hour trial on net and people say that when the 5 hour trial ends it reverts back to a standard revo map not a genuine vw one, sounds dodgy to me probably best to just install it fully or not bother at all from what i can gather from my findings anyway :undecided: :undecided: :undecided:

plenty of ppl do it. no problems :)
if u would trust their remap, then u should trust their standard map, they are the same apart from boost, fuel and timing
